About Us |
I started giving lessons after I retired; not because I intended to, rather because I was asked. I spent lots of time at the range; for that matter, at many different ranges. What I heard each day at whatever range I frequented was bad advice given to well-wishing players. They were getting an earful of theory from people claiming to be teachers with years of teaching experience. What I observed each day were people serious about learning, paying serious money for instruction, who still didn't know how to hold the club, position their feet or distribute their weight when addressing the ball - all this after taking a lesson! Worse, they didn't understand the importance of rotating around their axis or loading and unloading their wrists, basic and fundamental concepts. When seeking instruction your interest should be singular: you should be interested in one thing: results! What I offer is a simple, common sense approach to hitting solid golf shots, whether for kids, for seniors like myself, or anyone interested in improving. If you wish to improve you most likely need help, so make sure the person helping, the one charging you for instruction, is producing results. |
